Concentric Stranded Conductors are constructed with a central core wire, surrounded by one or more layers of helically laid wires with each successive layer alternating in direction or uni-directional.
· Why do we Name the Cable 2DualCDC
2Dual represents the structure of the cable. The conductors are Teflon coated and accurately twisted, and covered with medical grade TPU sheath, then twisted again.
This structure has the advantage of 1. Effectively shielding interference from both internal and external electrical signals. 2. Preventing the conductors from being oxidated 3. Providing an experience of comfort, good looking, and soft.
C stands for Concentric-Lay Structure
To eliminate the negative effect of the current magnetic effect, OEAudio utilized the Concentric-Lay Structure into the new 2Dual Series.

The regular pattern of the Concentric-Lay structure eliminates the negative effects such as loss of signals jumping inside out the cable through various conductors.
Unlike ordinary structures which cross-section of the conductor seems more like non-regular patterns which cause signal accumulation in some spots which negatively affect the high-frequency response of the cable. The cross-section of the Concentric-Lay conductors is closer to a circle, which signals are more evenly distributed across the outer layer, providing a bigger area for the signals to pass through, resulting in more stable highs.
The distribution of the conductors is even and uniform. The internal structure of the cable will not easily be disorganized even being affected by external forces (such as bending)
This process gives us soft conductors with more excellent conductivity.
D Duplex Annealing
The Duplex annealing process is done after the primary annealing process in a vacuum environment. The conductors are heated to a temperature at which metal crystals can be formed. The conductors are then cooled down slowly to room temperature, which the time-controlled cooling process eliminates stresses of the crystals and more balanced crystals are formed.
C Oxygen-free Copper
Nexans' OFC is used in the 2DualCDC cable production, which inpurities are controlled in less than 8PPM(*1PPM). We remove the polluted surface of the copper sticks before peeling, and surfaced are polished to a micrometer-grade smoothness. 101.3% of IACS(a conductivity standard) is achieved.
Before the conductors are extended, they are peeled. Our customized natural diamond peeling-die ensures the smoothness of the surface of the conductors which eliminates loss of the high-frequency signals. Impurities are peeled off the conductors leaving a smooth surface.
Both the sound performance, and the process, are significantly improved
Transparency-
The brand new 2Dual Series has a sound signature of Transparency. The robust and transparent sound is achieved by significantly eliminating crosstalk between cords and losses of high-frequency signals.
Smoothness-
Thanks to the conductor manufacturing processes, the 2DualCDC has a smooth and tranquil sound, gentle and non-stimulating in all frequency-bands. It is suitable for long-term audition.
Isotacticity-
Excellent Dialectic materials as well as the twisted structure reduce phase shifts. Isolations between channels are improved, which sound stages are more regulated and positioning of sound is improved.

CS46L61 chip has an SNR of 121db, with a -98dB THD+N, supporting up to 384KHz/32bit formats, having an output of 0.95mV@32ohm.
